The Programming Tool is a desktop application that allows you to program the internal NAND memory of the Wifx products with a new firmware.

When to use it?

Your gateway is shipped with a firmware in the internal memory that makes it ready out of the box. The Programming Tool is only intended for special use cases:

  • Upgrading a LORIX One that has the legacy firmware
  • Programming a special cutom image
  • Downgrading a gateway to an older version of the operating system

How long does it take?

You should be able to do a firmware update in less than 15 minutes.
