The Programming Tool is a desktop application that allows you to program the internal NAND memory of the LORIX One with a new firmware.

When to use it?

Your gateway is shipped with a firmware in the internal memory that makes it ready out of the box. The version of the firmware may vary depending on the date and where form you did buy the gateway.

The firmware in your gateway is either the original legacy firmware or the new firmware.

How long does it take?

You should be able to do a firmware update in less than 15 minutes.
