Troubleshooting
This section helps you to find and fix some known troubles based on the symptoms you observe.
It will be completed regularly based also on your feedback so if you discover an issue or have trouble which is not described here or maybe not complete, please write us at support@iot.wifx.net.
Consider upgrading to LORIX OS
Most of the known issues of the legacy software have been addressed in LORIX OS:
- there is now a process monitoring to ensure the forwarder is always running
- the network aspects are more simple and finely manageable
- we added remote update support which makes really easy and secure the updates including security fixes but also new features
For all these reasons, the most adequate solution to the issue is to switch to LORIX OS, you can find more information on the dedicated page.
However, if you prefer to keep the legacy firmware or simply can't switch, there is probably also a solution to the issue in this troubleshooting section.
Communication troubles
You are facing one of the following symptoms:
- My gateway is not seen by the cloud I'm using
- My gateway is detected by the cloud but I don't receive LoRa packets in the cloud
- Everything works but stop working after some time
